The Renegade Reading Series was founded in 2011 to showcase emerging writers in New York City and before COVID-19 gathered each month at Cafe con Libros, a bookstore and cafe in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. This month, the series went remote on Instagram Live -- who knows, next month (as yes, the founder's vision is to resume in-person events).
