Let’s walk through a few quick scenarios where you may have an opportunity to give feedback to an employee; these are from an article by Alison Robins:
- Scenario 1: An employee delivered work past the deadline. How would you handle this, and what would you say?
- Scenario 2: An employee set goals that they didn’t meet. What is the issue at hand? Would you reprimand the employee?
- Scenario 3: An employee seems disengaged and doesn’t take on new projects. What would you ask them about your observation?
