Years ago there was only one resume format. It was chronological. In that format, we list our experiences from the most recent to the most distant in time. Then about thirty years ago a new resume format came into being. It's called the Functional resume format. In that format, you don't list your jobs in reverse chronological order, but use a different organizing scheme instead.
